What is OFAC?

OFAC stands for the Department of The Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control. It is the federal agency in the US Department of the Treasury responsible for the administration and enforcement of economic and trade sanctions programs towards Cuba, known as Cuban Assets Control Regulations, 31 CFR part 515 (“Regulations”).
